hey EW, just thought I'd leave this here too before it goes to CL.

this is a 1999 W163 Mercedes ML430. ArcticWhite on grey leather. M113E43 SOHC 3V 24V V8 engine with a 722.6 5 speed adaptive automatic transmission and of course all wheel drive with DSC/TCS/ASC.

it's very quick, its very reliable, it tows, it looks pretty decent, and it has been mechanically taken care of.

132k miles.

features:
*has the bose stereo, I think it sounds rubbish but most people love how it sounds. plenty of bass and highs, VASTLY better than a lot of newer stereos. 6 disc in the back, tape/am/fm up front.
*has heated seats. I've used them a lot.
*the AWD, shit works. I hate anything not RWD, but this thing is a TANK in the snow.
*all the power stuff works well
*the engine was factory rebuilt at 106,000 miles, and I broke it in properly after it was installed. (have that paperwork, and all the other stuff the last 50K we've had it)
*has a 2" reciever on it which I put on in 2007 (it had never been towed with before we got it) and I only towed engines and tow dolley'd cars. not hard stuff for it.
*the A/C is ice freekin' cold
*the heat works just dandy.
*its fast. I'm super serious.


the anti-features
*it has some rust type stuff on it in certain areas
*Mercedes didnt design the power steering well, so the clamps let it leak. I've had it replaced (under warranty) over 7 times, same OE parts, same rubbish leak.
*rear struts are worn, but not yet bad.

this was ground and coated with an eastwood rust preventer last year, but was driven through the winter. all light surface rust.

we have service records since purchase in 2007, but not before that. LOTS done to it in that time. very reliable. only 2x,xxx miles on the rebuilt engine.
