I found this wonderful Mk2 16v Gli - ( my name is cory and i am a car whore )
Anyways - i figured if i can get quick sale with this wagon i will just buy the GLI and worry about a winter beater later if snow ever comes..
About the wagon
I bought it from Original owner in Kansas
it is FABULOUS! Exterior BLack Magic black - washes up perfect - no dings , no dents , no rust..
Grey interior w/ heated seats
Loaded
power everything.
Brand new Continitial tires - less than 1000 miles on them
HID headlights ( i think that is what they are called ) previous owner paid $1000 for these from German VW Dealership back in 2000.
I have spread sheet with maintence history which is pretty extensive. Of course water pump /timing belt done.. control arms stuff done.. hvac stuff done - NO CHECK Engine Lights !!

Alpine w407 dual din Media head unit ( i added it ) PLugs into Iphone / ipod / Bluetooth / Satelite radio ( will not accept DISC, only media unit )

Recent maintence - just did heater core flush last week - wow the heat really works now, new motor mounts -
I have brand new KW Coil-overs in box not installed
Also have RML's Snowflakes 18x8.5 et45 ( the newer ones ) New in box also included.
Issues:
Passenger side window off track / clips broke - i just havent got around to replacing the regulator or doing the DIY with the $15 clips on ebay
Passenger side molding on rear door - the edge of it came unstuck and it flaps.. Only the 1 inch of it.. that is truely the only external thing wrong with the car - this car was garage queen and waxed and cleaned.. once its washed up.. wow - Oh i lied - as im typiing the passenger side front jack spot thing is missing and there is slight discoloration of the rocker and inner flare from running over a freshly painted white line on highway.. might clean off with Elbow grease - i just havent messed with it and i forget about it.. Slight smell of burning oil / even though valve cover gaskets were recently replaced, every once in awhile when parking it after driving it for awhile, you will smell oil - been to friends a few times to put it up on lift to see if we can find it but his lift is always being used..
