I'm seriously sick to my stomach. Why did it have to be 18 inch Style 5's?

Evidently BMW has been sitting on a large stock of OEM wheels at ridiculous prices and not getting enough bites, so they decided to liquidate... ECS Tuning was offering 18 inch BBS style 5's for $800 shipped.... Yay for the guys who hopped on a great deal, boo for me who has been sitting on two sets whose value just got more than halved. These wheels were selling for $2k two weeks ago. Not anymore. Fuck. :sadpanda:

I hope you're right Pete. I know it's silly to cry about their value, but I've sold a lot of my belongings in the last 6 months, some of it that I much rather would not have so that I could keep my wheels. Knowing that I could finish them up and make some decent cash to help pull us out of our financial funk was helping justify some of the sacrifices I have been making. It just feels like a kick you while you're down type of situation.

Yeah. They are sold out. Lots of people bought 2 sets. My post spoke in past tense reflecting that they "were" selling them for $800, but I should have been more clear. Sorry.

I bet they are done. Probably new old stock. Once they were gone they are gone. ECS is also a dealership and once parts are closed out at the dealerships, ECS will snatch up a bunch. I bet if you went to the dealership, they can no longer order these.
