GTI commercials ?

They say they are being played during th eolympics but all Im seeing is chevy,buick and mazda ads. I did see a small thing on the bottom of the screen saying this portion is being sponsored by the new volkswagen gti mkv and the white gti did a burn out and took off which was cool but now actual commercial.

it was just on. some guy calling to order chinese in the rain and they guy asks take out or delivery over and over and the guy ordering is looking at this little monster thing. and then he runs out to his white gti in the rain and the monster is in the passengers seat saying delivery is for wussy\'s or somthing like that.

Haha yeah about 7 minutes after I posted it I saw that one. Then later they played one where the dude got pulled over and the cop lets him go and then he peels out leaving. Also another sweet shot I found.

Sorry, I know I\'m a douche but Audi wheels should never, ever been on a VW. Or if they are, they should have the centers removed and VW centers put on. Just my useless opinion.

Don\'t watch TV so I haven\'t seen the commercials, and have only seen one MK5 GTI on the road so far. Hopefully their ads are better now than they were for the new Jetta and Passat (though the one of the stuffy old businessmen in the Jetta turning on the stereo and getting blasted by metal was amusing).

Thats it you are banned from this club :P I put the 6 spoke TT wheels on my 2000 gti years ago and I do have to say I was the first locally..reprezent. But I mainly left the centers cuz they didnt mass produce cross vw caps like they do now and also to educate the dumb americans that vw and audi are lovers. Also the new gti commercials are kinda dumb they have this \"fast\" thing ?? Its like little sonic thehedgehog looking dude in shotgun..it kinda looks like this.... :angry:

Ah the wheels are cool (though stupid heavy), I\'d just change the center caps.

There was some discussion on the Car Lounge about some guys getting treated like shit when they went to check out the GTI. Guess the dealership changed their mind about a test drive after seeing a couple of kids who couldn\'t possibly have money. Dealers suck.
