Ben Erickson of SCI Performance has created a fantastic shift knob that fits a wide variety of vehicles.

The shifter feels solid with the knurled surface gripping your hand with ease. Easily fits just about any vehicle with the set screws in a matter of minutes.

The shifter stood a little taller in my MK1 than in my Audi A4. I like the way it brings the shifter up away from the seat bolsters and my knees in my 83 Jetta.

The Coat of Arms crest goes well with the theme of my Wolfsburg, but should suit any euro car well.

I also have one of these, only mine is a little different. Its a lot more sharp on the top ring.

I love it like crazy and it feels great. The knurling is perfect, not to scratchy, and not tiny.

I would suggest one. :) Thanks Ben for the great deal you gave me on that TT engraved knob.

edit: once i get my camera workin again I'll try and post up some pics of mine. Its a lil different than amtrackjacks'

So he is carving these at the shop? Makes them from a small block of metal? Or are they just premade shift knobs he etches designs on top of? I didn't know they made custom stuff like this.

He does all of this stuff on his own. You'd have to talk to him to get more details but I believe he designs all of them, can have them engraved with almost anything you want and is a great guy to deal with.

These shift knobs are made next door to the shop. The same Machine shop that makes our Door lock pins and tire valve stem caps.

What are you thinking?

If you have a design idea let us know at the shop and we can look into it for you.
