One year down the road from last year's sale, I'm very happy with the REVO in my 2.0t. I just have the basic program, and it's the only real (engine) performance mod on the car. It really brings the car to life! :D
Anyone know if the tiptronic trans for the 2.0T TSI has problems dealing with a chip? I wouldn't be concerned if I had a DSG but the B6 Passat is a Tip. Anyone know? I just came out of warranty 2 weeks ago and it's starting to look like the Passat is becoming my car now.

I suspect that they either have a file for your particular ecu code or they don't. I don't think it's a matter of just loading up a universal file and hoping that it works.

I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about the transmission ability to handle the added power. I know people have chipped them before. I just don't want a blown transmission in 40k.

I know some of the MNAudi folks have talked about possible premature torque converter failure, but I would assume that a more frequent fluid change with a better fluid, and not beating the piss out of it every day would alleviate some of that risk.
Besides...if the transmission goes out you can just protest out in front of the dealer until they replace it for free.
Oh, wait. Someone already tried that.
