A Ford Focus that i would actually drive?

Ford appears to (possibly) be making good on their ONE Ford campaign with the 2012 Focus that appears to be heavily based on the Focus currently available on the European market.

According to Car and Driver, Ford is planning on releasing the Focus ST in 2012 with a 1.6L Turbo Ecoboost I4 making over 200hp.

Although the production model is most likely going to change quite a bit (i'm guessing they will have to add a bunch of square corners) i am totally in at this point.

MY2012? Ford may be rubble by then.
Pretty sure they could shave some R&D cost just by offering us the hand-me-downs from the european versions of cars that are already in production. President Obama loves this idea.

oddly enough, the interior is my favorite part of the car. i think they should have done a 3 door or a 2 door model, but IMHO the interior is really good looking.
