The insignia is quite good from what I have heard, i'd consider one, esp second hand once it depreciates. I'd hafta badge it properly as an opel though.

FINALLY some of the sense GM had with the G8 is starting to make itself known...

i hope gm continues down this path (even if they just end up rebadging a bunch of GM Europe cars and bringing them here as their entire product line.)

That car, blacked out, base model, with suspension/wheel/brake/engine upgrades, and some 80's accents in the interior...like a square boost gauge, t-handle shifter and some digital shit.

k, what i do think is really stupid with this car is giving it a GS or possibly a GNX badge and then DOWNGRADING it to the ecotec 4, when they already have a fantastic 325 turbo V6 in the OPC version. this car would butt heads with the new Taurus SHO with its price, size, etc and be the perfect competitor, but its not going to hold a candle to the SHO without that V6 in terms of performance.

so why the hell would you offer a smaller engine in the top of the range model? ecotec is fine and all, but for the sport model they should stay smart and keep the turbo V6.

given GMs track record of ruining great cars, i have a feeling right before production they'll manage to fuck up at least something on this car. i bet it'll loose the AWD and the 6 spd manual before it hits showrooms.

Yeah it looks great, but as someone on page one said, I would never leave the stupid buick badge on it. Its an Opel, it should have the Opel badge.
