Went out to watch my friend race his mower again and wouldn't you know it, I had my camera with me.

My friend in the green mower in the last two pics was afraid to use 5th gear. He was already drifting and hitting about 40 in 4th and didn't feel like going any faster.... lol

And in the second pic you can see a disc brake on the rear axle of his mower. He was the only one there to think of brakes when building his mower.... lol That disc brake is the rear brake off a Honda crotch rocket.
