I am trying to build some parts, but there are a few cars that I don't have at my disposal.
So, what I need to do is come out to your place, hang out and build a couple tie bar prototypes off of your car.

Cars I still need:
Mk1 8v- ham(maybe)
16v swap-Glen
aba swap-Kris

Mk2 8v-blue_bomber, first91gti

Mk3 vr6-toftii, eurotrash

Mk4 vr6-dubsmcgee
24v-twotone

Corrado g60
slc

Mk1 scirocco (maybe the same as the rabbit?)

Mk2 rocco 8v

After I get these prototypes built, I will make a few production samples and send one out to you for letting me use your car.

I have 8v mk1...is this lower or upper tie bar? If lower, I have a little different downpipe than normal. If upper, I'm running a gasser intake manifold on my car, so all should be good...

If you find a more convenient/readily available 8v mk1 around, by all means go for that...I'm not sure when the next time I'll be in the twin cities area is. :beer:

i volunteer a mk1 with raised strut towers. the bars going to need to be less than 3 millimeters tall though...

You're welcome to use my 1992 Corrado SLC if you need to. Maybe you could build some other chassis stiffening parts that other companies don't offer too!
