My brother works for Jostens, and he was able to acquire a lathe that they were going to get rid of. Its sitting at our parents house for the time being, but we are both pretty pumped about it.
We plan on making wheel spacers and would like one, or two to be able to imitate. Once spring rolls around, if anyone would let me borrow a pair, or even one of their spacers that would be awesome.
I will try to get pics of it over the weekend.

Awesome!
Can you work with AutoCAD files, or is this lathe not computerized?

I haven't checked it out in person yet. It only makes sense to plan on doing pairs.

I don't know what kind of shop you have put together, but you'll still might need a Mill to do bolt patterns unless you don't care about exact hole location and just use a drill press.
Mills are expensive, but with a semi computer controller, you can make about anything you want with the correct jigs.

Yup. He said as long as he gets a print of anything, then he will be able to make it. its just a matter of getting the mill to do the cutting.

well nothing can happen until hopefully the near future. Lack of $ for the mill, and something else is needed for the lathe, but I can't remember the other thing that's needed.
